A simple process designed around one thing: solving your actual problem.
We talk
A free 20-minute call about your problem. No jargon, no sales pitch — I mostly listen.
You get a plan
A fixed-scope proposal in plain language: what I will build, what it costs, and when it is done.
I build it
You see progress weekly and can change course early. After launch, I stick around.
Things I've built.
Real products with real users — not mockups.

Who you'll be working with.

I'm Max. I've been building software professionally since 2018 — mostly fintech and telco systems: payments, banking, the kind of software where mistakes cost real money. These days I'm a senior engineer at a UK business-banking platform used by over a million small businesses.
Alongside the day job I've been consulting since 2020 and shipping my own products — my Shopify app is used by 100+ businesses today. Buno Labs is where I put all of that to work for small businesses directly.
I take on one or two client projects at a time. That's why I quote fixed scopes and show progress weekly — and why there's no account manager and no handoffs: the person you talk to is the person who builds it.
Questions people ask.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope, so I do not publish price lists. After a free call you get a fixed quote — one number, no hourly surprises. If it is not a fit, you have lost 20 minutes.
How long does a project take?
Small websites: one to two weeks. Larger sites and custom software: typically three to six weeks. You get a concrete timeline in the proposal, and you see progress weekly.
I am not technical. Is that a problem?
Not at all — most of my clients are not. I explain everything in plain language and handle the technical side end to end: domains, hosting, email, all of it.
Who owns the website and the code?
You do. Domain, code, content, accounts — everything is registered in your name and stays yours, whether or not we keep working together.
What happens after launch?
Nothing disappears. You can take over fully (I hand everything off cleanly) or keep me on a small monthly plan for updates, fixes and improvements.
You have a day job — will you have time for my project?
Yes, by design. I take on one or two client projects at a time, quote fixed scopes, and show progress weekly — you always know exactly where things stand. If I cannot commit to your timeline, I will tell you on the first call.
